Quick Start
This guide will help you create your first snippet and learn the basic workflow.
Create Your First Snippet
- Press
Cmd+Nto create a new snippet - Type a name (e.g., “hello.py”) and press
Enter - The editor is now focused - start typing your code:
def hello(name): return f"Hello, {name}!"
print(hello("World"))- Press
Cmd+Sto save
Run Your Code
- With your Python snippet open, press
Cmd+R - The Output Panel appears at the bottom showing:
Hello, World!Search Your Snippets
- Press
Cmd+Fto open the search bar - Type any word from your snippet
- Results appear instantly as you type
- Press
Enterto open the selected result
Filter Search
Use filters to narrow your search:
lang:python- Only Python snippetstag:api- Only snippets with the “api” tagfolder:work- Only snippets in the “work” folder
Organize with Tags
- Open any snippet
- Press
Cmd+Tto open the tag editor - Type tags separated by commas:
python, tutorial, hello-world - Press
Enterto save
Create Folders
- Right-click in the sidebar
- Select “New Folder”
- Name your folder and press
Enter - Drag snippets into the folder to organize them
Favorite Important Snippets
Press Cmd+D to toggle favorite status on any snippet. Favorites appear in a dedicated section in the sidebar.
