Installation

macOS

Download

Download the latest .dmg file from zetopad.site.

Install

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file
  2. Drag ZetoPad to your Applications folder
  3. Eject the disk image

First Launch

On first launch, macOS Gatekeeper may show a security warning because ZetoPad is not notarized by Apple.

To open the app:

  1. Right-click (or Control-click) on ZetoPad in Applications
  2. Select “Open” from the context menu
  3. Click “Open” in the confirmation dialog

You only need to do this once. After the first launch, ZetoPad will open normally.

Data Location

ZetoPad stores all data in:

~/Library/Application Support/zetopad/

This includes:

  • zetopad.db - Your snippets database
  • settings.json - Application settings
  • keymap.json - Custom keybindings
  • icons/ - Cached icon assets

Updating

ZetoPad includes an auto-updater powered by Sparkle. When a new version is available:

  1. A notification will appear
  2. Click “Install Update” to download and install
  3. ZetoPad will restart with the new version

You can also manually check for updates in Settings > About > Check for Updates.

Uninstalling

To completely remove ZetoPad:

  1. Quit ZetoPad
  2. Delete /Applications/ZetoPad.app
  3. Delete ~/Library/Application Support/zetopad/ (this removes all your data)
